HOW TO SIGN UP FOR A NO-COST PORTRAIT SESSION
AT THIS EVENT:
Visit the Giving Back Through The Lens table located at the Turkey Eve Meal on Metcalf at Atonement Lutheran Church (9948 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66212) on November 23, 2011 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. At the GBTTL table you may register for a no-cost portrait session. Each registered family will be assigned a specific time for their portrait to be created on December 10, 2011. Portraits WILL NOT be created during the Turkey Eve Meal on November 23.
There are a limited number of portrait sessions available for this event and registrations will be limited to the first 50 families that sign up at the Turkey Eve Meal.
Each registered family will receive:
- One - 30 minute, no-cost portrait session
- One - free 8" x 10" portrait print
- One - DVD with your photo files that you may use to have additional prints made at the lab of your choice

This was an on-site, full-day, no-cost portrait event. This event was graciously sponsored by Atonement Lutheran Church. Families were registered via Head Start of Shawnee Mission, Inc. Participating families received a 30 minute portrait session, an 8" x 10" photo print and their images on CD.
Event: Third Annual Greater Kansas City Community Baby Shower
Type: PUBLIC (Members of the community may attend this event.)

This event was sponsored by Children’s Mercy Family Health Partners and the Health Department of the Unified Government of Wyandotte County, Kansas. This was a free community event for new Mom's, soon-to-be Mom's and their families who are less fortunate. The goal of the event was to educate families on how to help their new baby get a healthy start on life.
Giving Back Through The Lens conducted drawings for no-cost portrait sessions with a portrait photographer. Families were able to stop by our table and enter the drawing to win one of the certificates donated by photographers. The winners were determined by drawing at the end of the Community Baby Shower and the actual sessions were scheduled at a later date determined by the photographers and the winning families.
